Charleswater ESD Bags meet EN 61340 5-1 requirements: 1. "Low charging packaging exhibiting properties which minimise any charge generation" [clause 3.18.1]. 2. "Electrostatic discharge shielding barrier or enclosure that limits the passage of current and attenuates the energy resulting from an electrostatic discharge such that the maximum energy from 1 000 V human body model discharge is less than or equal to 50 nJ" [clause 3.18.2.]. 3. Per ANSI/ESD S541 section 8.2.1 Material Identification, "ESD protective packaging shall be marked with the ESD Protective Symbol." And section 8.2.3 Traceability "Packaging should be marked with information that allows traceability to the packaging manufacturer and to the manufacturer's date/lot code information. The date/lot code should allow traceability to quality control information pertaining to the manufacture of the specific lot of packaging.
